The CondoBase verified badge

The badge is a small image that says one thing — an identity document is on file for this agent, and the email address on the account is confirmed — and nothing else. Here is exactly what was checked, what it does not mean, and how to display it.

What the badge proves

  • An identity document is on file, submitted through Persona. We hold a reference to the check, and we never show the document to anyone.
  • The email address on the account is confirmed, so there is a way to reach this agent.
  • The document and the account belong together: the badge is read from the agent's own account, never from a name typed into a form.

Remove either half and the badge stops rendering on its own, wherever it has been pasted.

What the badge does not prove

  • It is not a background check, a criminal record check or a credit check. Nobody ran those.
  • It is not a promise about any listing, price or unit. Check the unit and the paperwork yourself.
  • It does not tell you the person is honest — an ID check never does. That is the same warning we print on every payment.

Three states, and the third one matters

This platform is careful about the difference between "no" and "we could not check", so the badge has three outcomes, not two.

Verified: document on file and email confirmed. The badge renders.

Not verified: one half is missing. No badge renders — the image is empty rather than an error, so a visitor never sees a broken picture.

Unknown: our verification check could not be read at all. No badge renders, and we do not tell anyone the agent is unverified — an outage is not an accusation.

How an agent gets it

  1. 1

Sign up and claim your handle, so your badge URL and your page agree.

  2. 2

Submit your identity document, then open the link we email you to confirm your address.

  3. 3

Copy the snippet below onto your own site, or leave it to us — your visit card carries the badge automatically.

If a document expires or a submission is refused, the badge simply stops appearing.

Paste it anywhere

The image is served from condobase.asia and re-checked on every load, which is why it cannot be copied by someone who is not verified. Replace the handle in the URL with your own.

What a verified badge looks like

CondoBase verified agent @mmproperties: an identity document is on file (Persona) and this account's email is confirmed. This is not a background check or a criminal record check. CONDOBASE.ASIA @mmproperties ID on file · email confirmed

An example with an invented handle — the same image the badge endpoint serves for a verified agent.

Live preview

This renders the real endpoint with a placeholder handle, which is not a verified agent — so the empty result you see here is exactly what a handle without verification returns.
